Our Mission

Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries, Inc. is a non-profit privately administered corporation dedicated to conserving the natural resources of The Town of Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Our Challenge

The challenge for Salt Pond is to increase our membership base in order to do more to preserve, protect and purchase the beautiful land within the Town of Falmouth, on Cape Cod.

Outdoor Discoveries 2012     Pumpkin Day 2012
Outdoor Discoveries Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries and Heritage Gardens and Museum Heritage Museums & Gardens and Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries, Inc. will team up once again to share the wonders of the outdoors with children ages 4-9. Programs will take place at Bourne Farm in Falmouth.

9:00 am- 3:00 pm
Rain or Shine
Pick your own pumpkins, pony rides, hayrides, facepainting, kayaks and paddle boats, moonwalks, crafts and characters. Lunch available and bake sale. Free admission and parking, ticket sales per activity.

This event is Rain or Shine. In case of inclement weather certain activities may be cancelled, however the Pumkin Patch and other activities that are unaffected by rain will remain open! Click here for more details.
         
  Consider Our Adopt a Trail Program     Bourne Farm Information
Adopt a Trail Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries If you would like to remember a special person in your life and show support for the conservation of our Falmouth environment, you may adopt a trail on one of Salt Pond's properties. Your contribution will help Salt Pond with the cost of maintaining that trail, and we will place a sign on the trail in honor of your special person or organization. Please contact the Salt Pond office for more information. Tel. 508-548-8484 or Email us.   Bourne Farm Wedding Rental, Falmouth, MA, Cape Cod Bourne Farm is available for rent for social functions. The farmhouse, barn, and grounds provide a uniquely attractive setting for functions: weddings, parties, receptions, luncheons, and special meetings.
